Artwork - Frequently Asked Questions

Got questions about artwork? We’ve got you. This is where you’ll find straight answers on getting your files print-ready, setting up cut lines, adding white layers, and everything else that helps your stickers, labels, badges or magnets come out looking proper.

We’ve been printing for over a decade, millions of stickers, thousands of artworks, and just about every file type you can imagine. Whether you’re a designer, an artist, or just giving it a go, we’ll make sure your artwork prints sharp, accurate and exactly how you expect.

Our goal’s simple: make ordering custom prints as easy as possible. Upload your artwork, pick your size and finish, and we’ll handle the rest. If we spot anything off, missing bleed, low resolution, wrong colour mode, we’ll fix it or let you know before printing.

Don’t see what you’re after? Just drop us a message. We’re quick to reply and always happy to help.

What file types do you accept for artwork?

We accept PDF, AI, EPS, PSD, TIFF, PNG and JPEG files. Vector files print best, but high-res raster files work too.

What resolution should my artwork be?

Go with 300 DPI (dots per inch) at the final print size. Anything lower can look blurry or pixelated when printed.

Should my file be in CMYK or RGB?

Use CMYK for the best colour accuracy. RGB is for screens, it can make colours look different in print.

Do I need to add bleed to my artwork?

Yes. Add at least 3mm bleed on all sides. It stops any unwanted white edges after trimming.

What’s a safe zone and why does it matter?

Keep text, logos and key details at least 3mm inside the cut line so nothing gets chopped off during trimming.

How do I set up a cut line for die-cut stickers or labels?

Create a separate layer named “Cut Line” and mark it in 100% magenta. If that sounds confusing, don’t worry, we can add it for you.

How do I add a white layer for clear or holographic materials?

Add a spot colour named “White” on its own layer to show where you want ink to print opaque. We’ve got a full guide if you need help setting it up.

Can you fix or adjust my artwork before printing?

Yes. We’ll help with bleed, cut lines, colour setup or resizing if needed, free of charge before printing.
