Preparing Your Artwork for Sticker Printing
Want your stickers to come out looking proper? Here’s what we need from you when you send over your artwork:
1. Size it right
Set your file to the exact finished size of your sticker (e.g. 7.5cm x 7.5cm).
2. Resolution
Go with 300 DPI. Anything lower will look soft or pixelated once printed.
3. Colour mode
Work in CMYK. RGB is for screens, not print, so colours won’t match properly otherwise.
4. Bleed
Add at least 3mm bleed on all sides. This stops any unwanted white edges after trimming.
5. Safe zone
Keep text, logos and anything important at least 3mm inside the cut line, so nothing gets chopped off.
6. Fonts
Convert all text to outlines/curves. That way we don’t need your font files.
7. File formats
We accept:
Vector files (AI, PDF, EPS) – best for logos and graphics
High-res raster files (PSD, TIFF, JPEG, PNG with transparency) – good for photos or detailed designs
8. Cut line (for custom shapes)
If you want a custom die-cut shape, add a separate cut line layer. Mark it in 100% magenta or use our templates.
9. Double check before sending
Make sure:
- Spelling is correct
- Colours are in CMYK
- Images still look sharp when zoomed in
10. Sending files
Send us a PDF, AI, or EPS with fonts outlined and layers intact. For simpler shapes, a high-res PNG works too.
Good to know:
Each order includes up to 5 different artworks as standard. If you need more than that, you’ll need to place an extra order.

What are Heavy Duty Stickers?
Custom Heavy Duty vinyl is built for tough jobs. Around eight times thicker than a standard sticker and backed with an ultra-sticky adhesive that’s twice as thick as our regular glue. The result is a sticker that grabs almost any surface and doesn’t let go. With extreme abrasion resistance, it can take knocks, scrapes and heavy wear without breaking down. One of the toughest materials you’ll find for stickers.
What are Heavy Duty Stickers?
These are stickers made from thick vinyl material with a glossy finish, designed to withstand harsh conditions. They are 8 times thicker than standard stickers and have a strong adhesive, making them suitable for demanding environments.
How thick are Heavy Duty Stickers?
They feature a 250-micron gloss laminate, providing durability and resistance to wear and tear.
What makes them "Heavy Duty"?
The vinyl is 8x thicker, the adhesive is 2x stronger, and the laminate is more protective. They're built to last longer and handle rougher conditions.
Can I remove Heavy Duty Stickers them later?
Yes, but it takes a bit of effort. The stronger adhesive holds on well, so removing them cleanly might take a bit of heat or adhesive remover.
Can I use Heavy Duty Stickers on machinery or tools?
Yes. They’re a good option for toolboxes, gear, helmets, bins, and any rough-use surface where normal stickers might peel or wear out.
Do Heavy Duty Stickers come in custom shapes and sizes?
Yes. You can order any shape or size you need, square, round, custom cut, anything. Just send your artwork and we’ll handle the rest.
